The Africa Investor Index Series
Africa investor Research (Ai) is Africas foremost provider of indices. We supply investors with the independent benchmarks they need to feel more confident about their investment and strategic decisions.
Ai produces weekly, value-traded adjusted, market capitalization-weighted indices. Its Ai100 and Ai 40 Investors indexes capture the top 40 and 100 of the largest and most liquid publicly traded stocks across Africa ranking them by market capitalization and by liquidity as measured by the average daily value traded in US Dollars. The Ai40 and Ai100 indices can be found on Bloomberg and Reuters and are licensed to fund managers.
Linked to the Ai100 and Ai40 investors' indices, Ai hosts the Ai Index Series Awards, a set of awards that recognise, stock exchanges, listed companies, fund managers, stockbrokers and research analysts who follow African equities. The 2007 Index Awards were held at the London Stock Exchange on June 8.

Index Data
Ai sells a data service which includes the real-time and delayed values of its famous indexes for display and distribution on Internet sites, terminal products, handheld devices, wallboards, tickers, via email, extranet or intranet services, television and other electronic products and services. These indexes include, most notably, the Ai40 Investors‘Index (also known as, the "Ai40") and "the Ai100" amongst other indexes.
Africa investor, as the sole and exclusive owner of all rights, including, without limitation, trademark, copyright, database and other proprietary rights, in and to its indexes, requires a license and payment of applicable fees with respect to display and redistribution of its index values. There are different types of licenses depending on your requirements.
